Those who are committed to pray for Greg.
Steve Olson & Debra Olson
Tracy is also praying for Greg and requests that you pray
for her brother Brett also who has recently started to attend church.
Tim & Karen (my neighbors from 3 houses down)
I was so amazed today, I contacted Direct TV today about some
changes I wanted to make, I shared about Greg and ask the agent to pray
for Greg. I know nothing about his beliefs but this was his reply:
Harmony: Oh sure I will visit that website later in my break, I
will also share that website to my co workers here , I will make sure we
will pray for him Steve. God is raising an army of pray warriors.
Yesterday at church I made a plea to over 60 people to
pray, and many have said they will.
Everywhere I go I ask people to pray and it is amazing how many say
they will.
Will you add your name?

UPDATE: October 8th, 2019:
Greg passed away at 1:45 AM with Steve & Debra at his side.
We are planning a grave side
service for him this Saturday in the afternoon. If you read this
we would love to have you attend.
Greg has become one of my very best friends. I have known him for over
2-1/2 years, he is 53 and his birthday is May 3rd. He was a very faithful son to his mum and cared for
her for years. His hope was to start a new life in the USA, but shortly
after his mum moved to a nursing home, she died, it was devastating to
Greg, but he moved forward and cleaned out the house and started his plan
to move to the USA. A month later he was not feeling
well so went to see his doctor and it was discovered he had kidney cancer.
Kidney cancer is easily treated but, it was also discovered his liver
was failing. The cancer was successfully taken care of but his
liver is beyond hope. Now instead of the life he hoped for
he is in and out of the hospital every month with 6-12 months to live.
Greg has 2 brothers and one half brother, all 3 of them have hardly
been model citizens. They did inherit some money, but it won't last
long.
I have prayed daily for him as others others have too.
Greg is an atheist and needs a touch from God. He grew up as a
Catholic and only sees error and pedophiles
in the church. I did something I
never thought I could do before, I did a 30 day fast and prayer for
him. I believe God led me to do that but still no victory, but I
believe in the end he will be saved.
Greg lives in Australia, I flew there to meet with him in the
hospital, and pray for him.
I am asking everyone I know and meet to pray for his salvation and
physical healing.
Please commit to praying for him today and everyday.
Update: September 1st, 2019 4 days after I met and prayed with Greg, he had a major improvement. Praise the Lord!
It appears his steroid count is way too low, (thanks also to the doctor who would not give up and kept looking), so with meds and a proper
diet he may survive.
September 8th, 2019 Sometimes it just makes no senses.
The doctors in the great wisdom tweaked his meds, and it went from good
to excruciating pain for Greg and now they are changing it back.
He is still suffering and can barely function. Hopefully it will
once again be good. September 12th, 2019 This is such an up
and down ride for Greg. I visited my doctor and have discovered
that we have better facilities here, and I with the help of my doctor
going to get him in to see a specialist, which was positive, but at the
same time he took a big turn for the worse. He needs to improve to
be able to make the trip. I will fly to Australia and bring him
back, Lord willing. Keep praying for Greg, it is his only hope.
When he gets here he will have no insurance, so his money won't last
long. We think of Australia being a first class nation, and they have
universal healthcare. What some have been fighting for, for the
USA. One of their top hospitals, looked like the 1960's in the
USA. Four people to a room, and no computers, everything is hand
written and in a loose leaf binder. One doctor has no access to
what the other doctors are doing but looking at a hand written document
or speaking in person. NO wonder his meds get mixed up. September
14th, 2019 Just when he thought things were going well he had a
rough couple of days. After spending 3 days in severe pain, he
demanded they do something, and they did, and now he once again is
feeling better. That would never happen here in the USA. Greg is
hoping he can make it to the USA in about a week, looks like I will be
flying back to Australia to pick him up. He can walk, but the
flight is a killer, about 24 hours from take off to landing in
Minnesota. I have made an appointment with a top notch doctor in
Minnesota for him in 2 weeks. Things are moving. Pray for us
on the trip, we will need it, the airline will provide a lay down chair
to make a bed for him when he gets tired. |
